Down the barrel of this gun I am facing oblivion The lights they shine from the corners of my eyes The voices call but they can't decide Am I better off here or on the other side She said metaphysics could set me free from the shackles of this reality I don't know what's real, but this cold hard steel seems mighty tangible to me and I say Hey, hey, hey why not today I am an atrocity Each breath I take contributes to global warming And each dollar I spend is a dollar misspent What I pay in rent, it could make a dent in something like feeding the homeless or cancer treatments Harvest my organs Donate all my belongings I know you'll miss me, but my life is just one thing And it's one thing I have to give back Down the barrel of this gun I am facing oblivion
