If I were a Nomad, Livin' without a home, Yknow I wanna live my life just, Being alone. I'd be free and wild, young and true , Doing all the things I do, I can just escape this messy world and Go be with the happy few. And most of my problems would just Up and fade away Lord knows the bad times aren't here Sticking around to stay I wanna live in a van way up upon the hills And not give a damn shit about paying the bills And There's sunny skies and mountain peaks Better places I do seek Where my soul can be naturally pure If I could venture out beyond these bedroom walls Find out what is my true call If things were like the way they were before It's all summed up in one simple answer, If I were a Nomad If I were a nomad living with no job, no pay, no rent. Just wandering gods green earth like they way were meant Leave behind all the commotion in the Media and news Off to find a better life oh, I do choose And the unneeded violence in the streets No love found under the sheets How did we f*ck up this bad?
