I Won't Do That Again

I said words that were not true Made mistakes and acted like a fool And did things I swore I'd never do But I won't do that again I have friends that I neglect And waste time on some I don't respect Learn lessons slow every now and then But I won't do that again No, I won't do that again I'm not fighting battles that I can't win I'll guard my secrets while I choose my friends And I won't do that again No, I won't do that again Though it's the way I am and have always been And I've made worse mistakes but I'm not sure when But I won't do that again And I know I crossed that line I won't do it another time Just one more chance to make amends But I won't do that again Now I'll take my own advice A lesson learned that I don't need twice I'll pay this one time for my sins Cause I won't do that again We all break down every now and then But I won't do that again.....
