There are no more points to anything Every knife has been worn down These razors no longer pierce my nerves Yet still cut relentlessly The color and image is fucked, like an old TV So keep on stretching the antenna Trying to make it all come clear Refresh, reuse, review, regurgitate, reconsume Keep huffing glue until the pieces break apart Then leave them in the dirt How I want to tie you down, just to see you get back up I want to feed you puzzles I want you to be forced to kill me I want to pick your brain I want to stare within your eyes But how that seems so far away It's nothing we would ever call loving It's like cheap pornography Imitation crab and placebos dissolving in artificial flavoring Gnawing on the remains of meaning How they are strew about everywhere, and plastered on the walls Every surface spills out its colorful entrails There is no more surface tension It is indetectable, indescribable, unfathomable It cannot be put into words, for it has nothing to show It would be an utter waste to go into it A pointless detour of our time Like walking five miles in the wrong direction Or watching static on TV Nothing is supposed to speak No more mouths and no more screams No more eyes and no more gleams Just angry times and simple rhymes With nothing in between Free TV screens with your ovaltine Like drinking coffee with only cream Now it has lost everything Like dysfunctional families Giving gifts to make things bleed Mixing pill bugs in with seeds Blistering and festering Disposable dignity Egregious blasphemies Horrific obscenities All blended down into one digestible piece There are no more points to anything Nothing sharpened, nothing full Give me dull razors to numb the pain and let me kill everything Everything is vacancy Everything is holocene Everything is twee Everything is indignity Everything is haberdashery Everything is free Everything is me
