I can't keep time from slipping away Even if I could I'd never stay Ever since we've been alone I could start to remember No one really had much to say But I guess It's fine I must be tired I can't keep time from slipping away Even if I could I'd never stay All my life I never thought Just how far we'd grow apart Lesson learned but I do it again From now on we can just pretend I can't keep time from slipping away Even if I could I'd never stay
