| Dave Bartholomew was an American musician, bandleader, composer, and producer. He was a pivotal figure in the development of R&B and rock and roll music in the 1940s and 1950s. He is best known for his collaborations with Fats Domino, producing and co-writing many of Domino's biggest hits. Bartholomew was influential in shaping the sound of New Orleans music and played a significant role in the early success of artists such as Lloyd Price and Smiley Lewis. His contributions to the music industry earned him induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1991. |
