Sundays at the church that I went to as a child They would always teach us of Jesus' love Mom would always make sure we put on our Sunday best We always sat in the front row 'cause she felt that it was best We didn't have no money and our clothes were never new But somehow we always knew that the good lords love was true Our favorite time of year when the first snowfall would come We'd all sit by the window and we'd watch it all come down Hangin' all the Christmas cards that we got in the mail Helped to fuel the magic that we all knew we could feel We'd decorate the Christmas tree with tinsel in good cheer Anticipation of it all was all that we could bear I wanna wish you joy and love on this day of days May God bless all your lives in oh so many ways Think about those days with a warmness in your heart May Christmas never leave you and those memories never part
