We want to feel free like we used to do When we were kids and life was colorful and new But things have changed, we’re older now, we’ve got things to do So let’s get away, we’ll go for a drive Let’s get out and live while we’re still alive Why don’t we take a trip to Anytown, USA We don’t know where it is, but that’s ok We’ll just look for signs along the road to show us the way We could leave today, yeah we could go right now We could leave today if we just knew how We’ll sit and watch the sunset in a seaside park We’ll just hold each other until the sky grows dark So many times we struggle, but we still miss the mark It can’t be that hard to find a little peace We’ve got heaven here, beneath our feet
