Crazy World

In the time I've lived in, I have learned many things Right and wrong is seldom bad from good Those with loudest voices, seem shallow at its best They come off like some backwards Robin Hood The lifespan of a man is shorter than he thinks When he's gone there's so much he's not seen In older age he wonders what in life that he's missed Forgetting all regrets, with conscience clean Voices cry out, People sing out, Still no one is heard Like silent prayer the march goes on Reduced to mindless dirge Some say I'm crazy, A mirror within itself Long short on sanity, Long past any help I am not the seeker on the path to righteous truth Although sometimes it feels I walk alone Cause in my sleep I dream of things that most cannot conceive How this divided house can be one home You scratch your head and wonder why The world's the way it is But the thought it comes and it passes by Without you counted in Some say I'm crazy, a mirror within itself Long short on sanity, long past any help But in my little crazy world Is a peace that no one knows Exclusive in its entity, Intense in the unknown I'll always believe there's a better way to live in harmony A madman, A dreamer, A prophet, A fool, Not bad company So, give me my little crazy world You can write me off as mad The crazy thing about me is, I don't feel all so bad
