Floating in the Wind

I wrote your name on the back of leaf The wind carried it on the reef Then it rolled back on the shore Where it bloomed as a fresh new flower   Hope is floating Floating in the wind As I sat on the edge of the large window Looked at you down below And the noise of the city Faded behind the beauty of the sea Hope is floating Floating in the wind Every morning when I see The swaying flowers of the bay The glowing colours remind me  Of the wishes we made that day Hope is floating Floating in the wind
