Not a cloud in the sky But I can't see the sun Not a bird in the air Just a few on the ground Can't see the forest Cause there aren't any trees Can't get a drink The water's too thick and green How did we get here Where has it gone How do we get back To where we belong No one's to blame No one's at fault We all stood silent We all dropped the ball The road 's long and dusty The mountain seems high The horizon is foggy But let's give it a try We breathe the same air We walk the same earth But we act like We're the only things of any worth The earth's been here forever And we are here by chance We don't have the right To be careless and lax The earth is here to preserve It's not ours to deserve so YES save the whales, the trees and the birds How did we get here Where has it gone How do we get back to where we belong
