Good morning to you sir I was hoping you could tell me What's all the noise and commotion about? Those people there seem angry pointing fingers at each other Shouting out they want what then other one has got The sun keeps rising The stars keep shining The rain keeps falling To make the forests green All this will be here Longer than we will No matter how loud we shout or we scream The earth has plenty for each and every person The faster we learn this ,the sooner there'll be peace So you ask a very good question One that I've asked all of my life Seems there is no good reason for all of this strife When you ask why they are so angry They just stare off into space People don't know what they want to begin with But they are sure it is what the other one's got They let other people do their thinking for them They're too afraid to stand out in the crowd What they need to know is that the earth is out friend And that's what will win out in the end
