Everyone has to find their own peace I can't tell you exactly what I see Like you can't tell me exactly what you need Still we must find a way to agree You know the demons dancing in your head Their names, and faces and all of their children To you they are something to dread To me they are nothing but shadows in your head WE sit on a park bench look at the view I see a sunrise and a glistening dew But you tell me you're afraid it will rain I say the rain brings color to the flowers You say it just brings cold and darkness You look at a person and see black red or white I see a father and a brother and a wife You hold on to your cell phone like it's your heart and soul But I can walk in a forest and won't be alone If we want world peace and brotherhood of man Then there's two ways to get there from where I am We learn to live together knowing that makes us strong Or keep killing each other till we're all together gone Can we both be right or are we both wrong To think that the other is too far gone Or should we accept that differences exist And so learn from each other That is life's secret trick
