Over!

In the 2020 spring, we couldn't even sing. Coronavirus stopped all of our band rehearsals. So, to keep some kind of flow, online we had to go. We tried ‘Hangouts', but just got sick of saying “Over”. Couldn't play, too much delay, so the next day we tried to set up a ‘Houseparty'. Evening went and time was spent that only meant we were still sick of saying “Over”. Gigs can't go ahead, with all the venues ‘dead'. We're not expecting any change, just taking it as read That it won't happen soon - not cpril, May, or June. Not ‘til we get a vaccine, or we all become immune. Two failed tries and then a surprise! Sill can't harmonize, but third time lucky ‘Zoom' is working. Good that it feels just slightly more real, though still not ideal, ct least we're not still saying “Over”. Couldn't buy a song, as lockdown carries on. No handwash, pasta, rice, or flour and all the cbbot's gone! cnti-Bac's a farce and toilet paper's sparse. You'd think before this happened no one ever wiped their arse! Wishing that we We could meet up and Sing in a key Sing songs we love that Would really be Be good for us to Play again in our four corners.
