The roads were in trouble The highway was closed After it came down in frozen droves Tires turning double As sirens blow Slipping from the wheel out of control Too fast to slow down we're passing in style Spinning around and end in a pile Ode to the icy road Turning life around again, I suppose Ode to the icy frozen road You may see trouble, I see hope Cold as the devil, cold to the bone Waiting for the tow to take it home The shivers were coming, and so was his turn Sliding sideways left about to learn He's too fast to slow down and miss by a mile He slams on the breaks and ends in the pile Ode to the icy road Turning life around again, I suppose Ode to the icy frozen road You may see trouble, I see hope
