Zombies On The Freeway

I had a dream I saw zombies on the freeway They reached for me and grabbed at me and tried to make me stay But they scared me so bad I had to run away I didn't want to be a zombie on the freeway Their complacent disposition makes me break out in hives I'm allergic to cookie-cutter people and their template lives You frown upon my life with contempt and with scorn But I see right through your square cut and your corporate uniform I'm so glad I have my government to teach me wrong from right What I used to call the garbage dump is now a sanitary landfill site But as long as I pay my taxes everything will be alright I know I'm in good hands, I'll sleep so well tonight Do I still need big brother to tell me what to think I'm all grown up now, I signed my name in ink When you were shaking hands I thought I saw you wink But I know you couldn't do that, that low you'd never sink I had a dream I saw zombies on the freeway They reach for me and grabbed at me and tried to make me stay But they scared me so bad I had to run away I never wanna be a zombie on the freeway
