Til the Job's Done

They felt the Lord leading, to faraway lands To help the less fortunate, with their own hands They cried when they left, what used to be home They boarded that plane, into the unknown They faithfully served, by giving their best They loved the dear people, they came to bless They planted the seeds, for the Gospel to grow The lives that were touched, God only knows It’s never convenient, to impact a life Of a faraway people, that lives with great strife It was hard at first, until we begun We’ll work in the field, until the jobs done They sacrificed much, to get God’s word out To tribes with languages, few know about It took many years, to see it get done The people cried out, to Gods only son They prayed to the Father for all of their needs God graciously answered there humble pleads Just when it seemed like, they couldn't stay anymore God provided a way, and opened a door It’s never convenient, to impact a life Of a faraway people, that lives with great strife It was hard at first, until we begun We’ll work in the field, until the jobs done
