I remember every little thing I did When I was an eleven year old kid All the fantasies and dreams and nightmares In the night and what we did and what we hid The german cannon platform on the top of the hill The fox grave and the badgers cave the scary cabin that gave us the chills Pheasants just outside the kitchen window big brown house towering like a cool mirage A brook was running underneath and ending in a basin to the side of the garage Where daddy parked his first car, a volvo amazon We would go to italy you and I would have such fun Have such fun I remember every little thing we planned How we made our first rockband You had just a snare drum and an old high-hat Jan's harmony guitar, I would try that Jan he build me a model boat Then he got drafted, wore the king's robes He played the piccolo flute instead of the stratocaster Bound to end in disaster We looked down on the working people at the bottom of the hill like our father was a lord Master of the steel and iron factory a-glowing on an isthmus in the fjord Their children beat us up at school and the teachers they were lame You and I we fought a lot hyper long before aspartame But we were brothers all the same.
