Plan II (Plan B)

This is my plan, not a plan b Just the next step This is my plan working hard you'll See Yeah I'm on the up This is my plan, my plan This is my plan not a plan b Where am I going I'm working on that, you'll see Hey I'm rising up This is my plan, my plan Life is a conundrum, It's a puzzle that keeps being pieced Together until we die Sometimes we lose pieces that we have To find Sometimes we never get around to Finding them And we get to the end wondering how We ended up so lost We feel like we came from a box with Instructions on how we should live People telling us- Where we should go What we should do This is who you are You're unique But only the way that I think is real It feels like a cycle, losing our way Until we finally get a break and come Up with a plan Opening up from the box that we were in This is my plan, not a plan b Just the next step This is my plan working hard you'll See Yeah I'm on the up This is my plan, my plan This is my plan not a plan b Where am I going I'm working on that, you'll see Hey I'm rising up This is my plan, my plan Hitting all the obstacles Running into every wall I find Feeling so impossible Pretending that I don't mind Yeah I've been working hard on this Plan of mine Taking every step forward that I can Trying to eliminate words from my Dictionary that start with can't Navigating every field I step in, to Avoid any land mines That might take an idea I had and let it Explode in my face I just want to be given a little grace Sometimes I feel like I'm so alone That's when I fall to my knees and I Pray That my path would lead straight, and I wouldn't stay so afraid of all the Unknowns All the unknowns I don't want to stay afraid! Is it real or it fake, do I stay or do I Leave, am I living am I dead, do I care Or do I not? Why am I here and what's My plan? This is my plan, not a plan b Just the next step This is my plan working hard you'll See Yeah I'm on the up This is my plan, my plan This is my plan not a plan b Where am I going I'm working on that, you'll see Hey I'm rising up This is my plan, my plan Been working hard, maybe one day You'll see A lot of times I flop like a fish outta Water But that's when it's time I rise up or Shut up Either way I'm not about to give up See, I've got a no quit motto When life gets tough I take my pride And I swollow At that point I better man up Otherwise I might as well just build my grave and Work my 9-5 until I die yeah. Gotta make a plan, figure on where I Wanna go All I know now is that it's against the Current I'm not looking to ride the waves in The flow I'd rather make ripples that impact the World For the better. So I'd better get writing, cause this Plan- It's where I'm riding.
