Fingernails

I know I tend to offend when I think of it But I amended a trend without knowing When all a sudden beginning to see myself Structure formed out of figures up on a shelf And grew tongues And learned the English language And took all my friends And treated them better than I could ever do They're good people And they deserve to be reminded For the sake of everyone they're good to I wish I saw every time life went by too fast No, I can't forget the day when Aunt Prissy passed I got high And caught up with my cousin In the vestibule Where I learned how to roller blade It's not easy but my good friend Steven Took my hand and led me around the place Sometimes I still think of breaking your skin as Phil When I mistook the distance to your fingernail Or when the tick hid itself somewhere deep below What we could see under your metacarpal bone You saw blood And said you didn't mean to inconvenience me With your fragile soul I wish I could Go back and take my time to tell you It was not an inconvenience at all I'm such a fortunate guy to be listened to You could have thrown on so many more happy dudes You chose me A privilege I was not expecting I mean honestly You could've put on anyone else Without anxiety I hope you have a wonderful evening As you walk in generosity
