The first day in a long long time Woke up feeling I might survive I think I can make it At least for today It's enough just the blood in my veins Don't need nothing else in me to numb the pain I can't explain it But I'll try anyway I think I found Jesus Or something like Jesus Cause it sure feels like freedom Is breathing it's way in my soul So I think I found Jesus 
Or something like Jesus Woke up on the pavement at the bottom of hell I see my reflection and I don't see myself But something feels different It's too soon to tell I'll take what I'm given
If it's only a taste Just have a moment released from these chains Maybe I get it
