I've seen it in the sunrise  I've seen it in the eyes of my son I've seen it in the water The way the crashing river runs  I can feel it in the anthem  A crescendo of melody sweet And in the thrill of the thunder  Reminding me I'm frail and weak All of my history first breath to eulogy All of me rests in the hands of my God Poured out beyond measure we all know the pleasure Of the limitless unending kindness of God I've heard it in the silence  It spoke without saying a word I've savored the fragrance Every season I ever seen turn I've heard it through the darkness When no other hope could be found  And it springs up like fountains When loved ones are placed in the ground His love says it's not over now
