I love the life I live Even when it throws me fits Catch me out on base just tryna make my not Hear my pitch as I try to make it all the way home Running for my life my heart is as I write this poem Carry on I understand you have a life too When you get the time take a listen it'll take a few Seconds of your time everything was clear When I dug out what was deep inside Trapped in my mind Nothing seemed to make sense Had to stand fast and ask for my daily cleanse I want to make amends for your blessings The book of life says it's delivered So I know you got the message Missing out on class so I never got the lesson to expensive But don't cost much to pay attention Between my reflection and I there's been some tension As you can see there's a lot I forgot to mention
