No more lies and excuses Stop giving my time to people who use it And make it seem like they just want the best for me Cause they don't ever check for me Unless they hitting my phone to tell me what favor they need Man f*ck a respectfully Been telling y'all for years nobody could step to me No one could outwork me Kicking and pushing to get the credit I'm deserving If this was a sport I bet they retire my jersey Cause I've been going so hard I'm feeling legendary I am very Grateful for this position I'm in I got big dreams Imagine if I had this confidence when I was sixteen damn I probably would've peaked in high school They say everything happens for a reason but its hard to see it through to the end I scroll my phone and realize my life is lacking some friends Would it be different If I rewound and made some amends This is a vicious cycle man and I don't really wanna take it there (but should I take it there?)
