My Memory of You

Just the other day, I saw a woman who reminded me of you Yes, it's true As I stated at her face, she looked up at me The way you used to, and I smiled back But also had a mild heart attack She had that sparkle in her eyes that you had All of a sudden, I felt sad The pain in my eyes was obvious as I turned away She asked me was I okay, I lied and said yes, it's just everyday stress She told me it would be ok and she would pray, pray for me Truth was, she reminded me of what I lost, what was She reminded me of when i truly was in love My memory of you That's what i saw in her When i had you I didn't feel this kinda hurt It feels so strange, so strange dealing with this hurtful change But I've gotta move on Move from day to day
