I'm at this time of the year when You're thinking about your life you know? All the things you've done All the things you should have done I don't know if I always made the best choices you know but I do know I always did my best I'm just writing about what I live, what I feel, what I see That's all You wanna hear about my life I'm not a gangster, almost a lawyer Won't tell you that I shot people But I grew up in a French Ghetto Got memories of my Mom on the floor Trying to cook for her only child yo I snapped when I saw this I don't think she noticed From this day I took care of myself Didn't want her to suffer for my sake Sometimes she said "Why you do it yourself?"
