Summer Heat

i'm covered in my own sweat and wishing it was mixed with yours the window's open and the sun burns through I keep my eyes shut and let my thoughts go i can't help but imagine you here, what I'd say, and what I'd do I love you I miss you when you're not around I count the days I love you a cold beer in my hand, or a glass of wine with some ice my eyelids hood and I look at you, I can't stop, looking at you when you look back at me my insides just scream that I love you I miss you when you're not around I count the days I love you maybe one day i'll tell you how I feel but for now I'll take this summer and see you when I can I'm happy with the way you smile and sweat, and look at me perhaps in winter things will change...
