Wish I knew which way I'm going But I always find my home Conscious winds of fate define me Up here all alone Always said I couldn't fly Your blatant lies persuaded me Always kept me grounded Use my eyes to see Never thought I'd know this feeling Now I can't return To a state of being Hopeless subject to the world Everything I know around me Slowly fades to white On the edge, you're all I see Should I fall and let fate consume me? Falling is the same as flying 'Til you hit the ground Thought that's all I wanted I can't hear a sound I can see the ground approaching And my heart begins to cease Wondering if the crash is worth it If risk is worth peace Memories will cloud my judgement Regret will pin me down Maybe that's the reason why My feet won't leave the ground And every single choice I've made Traps my mind in hell On the ground, I hold my breath Because being tamed is worse than death to me.
