Precipice

Moving along I step past the threshold separating Me from my self My life changing, and how I live it What lies ahead is uncertain And I struggle with what to do I want to push my limits But I'm not sure if I'll have enough energy to The world has changed again But what will I do again Can I attempt to live Or must I resist I am at the precipice Of an important decision I choose what future I see But faintly, not clearly It's all so complicated It never used to be this way The answer was always given I never had to find my way I now understand What my old man said The past is a fading gift But I, will soon forget it
