Wasted Time

Wastin' my day on you wasting my time on things old instead of new I fell to the bottom & staggered back up I've had enough for now The Rocks of time are eroding away my soul has been chipped from the bone In dreams I see your embrace next to mine and I wake with tears welled up in my eyes I stayed away for what seemed like a time then you broke down my door and crawled in One by one you enter unwilling taking me down in one lonesome stride For now I'll stick to the methods I have persuasion is just an old trick I made the decision to move on this time but the tracks in the mud will always stay wet
