Soft Sand Hands

I don't care for the beach But to walk beside it exudes something The burning hot pebbles and broken glass botlles Amber and deep green It's magic and so is the sand Soft as your hand were When you were here with me No longer, no more - not ever, nevermore I still come and run my fingers through The sunkissed grass and the salty waters Darker than those years ago My mind kept those old secrets fresh and light Not anymore, now my hand are hard and older Nails grow longer and so does the hair My eyes are more gray than they are blue More blue is now my world I am alone and site that I will never see you again Maybe it's the distance, maybe it's my own death Who knows, it's for sure that I don't You: I hope you're happy as can be, even if you can't hear me
