Everybody tried to tell me don't do that Keep it for yourself don't give it to that man I gave it all away I'm trying to get it back My Power Filling up my shelf with every self-help book Listening to a lecture telling me I'm good I know you didn't mean it, but I think you took My Power Looking back on the whole thing It felt like a bad dream Curled up into a ball y'all It took all My Power Everybody telling me that I'm a mess Got to find a place where I can be myself Meditate and elevate and reaccess My Power Coming into my own now I don't feel so alone now now now Coming back from a fall y'all It takes all My Power Oh, they told me You let him have way too much And they told me Get it back, get your stuff And they told me Go on, stand up!
