I once had a close friend Always so self-condemned I thought he'd never see me He was just as scared me And i tried and i tried and i tried But he only saw someone To change or leave Cuz why would this be I thought it was all my fault He told me never to fall But i loved him with my whole heart And that made him fall apart And i tried and i tried and i tried But he only saw someone To love and leave Cuz why would this be My mum thinks you're no good for me And i see how good you want to be But this is the dumbest shit i've ever seen I'm not getting trapped at age 19 So i'll try and i'll try and i'll try To do what i can To take care of me And i will leave it be
