The Sea

Staring at the sea Waves come rolling at me Wet mole is where I hang I'm on the edge of a pirate's plank But the sea doesn't care It's completely unaware Pushing through rocks And battling with sand Soon to be On the main land Yet I still come everyday And I'll be back tomorrow to watch it play Staring at the sea Waves come raging at me It's a final warning to stay away In this cold mole where I stay Like the lighthouse in the bleak grey I've become a castaway It's rage splashes on my face Like cold needles dropping out of place But I still come everyday And I'll be back tomorrow to watch it play
