Dark Lake

In the dark lake lays the answer to my life's endless mystery I tried diving in to find out what it is, but I keep missing it It's only so long that I can swim inside and hold my breathe like that But the lake is dark and no answer found despite I searched with all I had I need the light to shine on the dark lake So I can find the answer that is there I need the light to shine on the dark lake So I can find the answer that is there Honestly it is too much right now, I searched this lake a thoughsand times I keep coming up for air before I find the hidden charms And I tried giving up and living up without it so many times before (Yeah) But I just could not keep running from the mission of my life (My life) I need the light to shine on the dark lake So I can find the answer that is there I need the light to shine on the dark lake So I can find the answer that is there And while I'm waiting for this light, I'm building me a lighthouse Built from everything I found as I walked through life
