I rifled through your pockets for the keys Put the car in drive and I left you saying "please"  In the mirror I see you with a thousand-mile stare I try to wipe my hand clean on the passenger side chair Empty streets ahead Wishing I was dead  Doped up and alone Am I in the twilight zone or is this real?
