I've aged quickly I've seen a lot of things Some bad, some good But mostly good I am older Wiser than everything Than all the leaves Than all the wind I sense a presence Something that's threatening me Something that's rare Something that hides I travel lower I feel their eyes on me Those souls who dwell Deep down inside But I travel silently I met him down there He led me patiently Hands with a soft touch Helped me when I couldn't see Took me somewhere new Laid my head down quietly You did nothing wrong And yet I left silently And yet I left silently Am I a human or just a hue Upon the canvas of me and you?
