SCENERY INTERLUDE

Ain't nothing like a lil' change of scenery Back against the wall, rather fail than fall, putting forth no energy Ain't no telling what this future has in store for me As I walk through the glass doors of the kingdom Emotions taking over all over again Clean slate, this is the beginning right after the end Of what I thought was heaven, nothing went according to plan Moved in a house of seven, still struggled to pay the rent Imagine growing up freshman year in a house that's crowded Roach problems, never fixed at this time I doubted Any sense of happiness happening only shoutin' Back and forth our moms never happy the bond was fallin Meanwhile, sharing a room with three of my cousins Not by blood but relations in which our parents discovered, each other When they were younger considered youngins Only one they put trust in was god when they ain't have nothing else But themselves Similar to my experience no help, was handed when I needed it most Mentally lost in hell Like cells when there bout to close Key being entered n twisted Almost became my position Several bullets I missed em (Whew) Tossing n Turning Searching for comfort on my pallet Mornings I'm hurting, Waking up early way off balance Tryna balance positive thoughts, but the dark won't let me have em Reason this is valid it, has to be ever since we got a lil' change of scenery Back against the wall I'd rather fail than fall, putting forth no energy Ain't no telling what this future has in store for me
