Sisyphus

Will I ever find the will to get out of my head Sisyphus I’m in this shit I never reach an end Fall back down and start over again That hill's never felt so endless This boulder keeps gettin closer to the edge Depression is my Zeus and I can’t get over you guess this tortures really for the best But I’ve made it this far why can’t I just reach the top Why’d you make it this hard afraid this cycle won’t stop I’ll make a point to accomplish every goal I have set But these obligations bursting at the seams what I’m left with nothin short of cardiac arrest But I’ve made it this high at a standstill my progress is shot Finishing in last place but that’s if I finish at all I accepted long ago that shooting for the gold was a lost hope Bronze was what I wanted till I settled for the silver Now I’m just happy that I had the room to try and grow But all my attempts were futile Bein useless the one thing I’m used to Takin steps instead of breathes I’ll probably pass away before I pass the test But I’ve made it this far why can’t I just reach the top
