Well Johny (is a friend of mine) And his story is come back to my mind He was another poor boy Another broken up toy In the middle of the city He had nowhere to go And it's not your fault little Johnny It's just society Her mama She left him under a brige And he was taken by a priest Who'd hit him hard with his fist But at least, he gave something to eat And it's not your fault little Johnny It's just society He never could've gone to schoole He tried be nice but he was fool I think inside he's beautiful But outside, looks like he'd kill for food Well Johnny I met him when he was 16 And he was starving and thing More than you could ever think Just a rotten piece of cheese would be his meal for the week And it's not your fault little Johnny It's just society I took him I took him to my place with me I made him go to school I gave him something to eat But I don't know why He went away and hit the streets And it's not your fault little Johnny It's just society He never could've gone to schoole He tried be nice but he was fool I think inside he's beautiful But outside, looks like he'd kill for food And last week I hear he stabbed a guy in the cheek And he was caught by the police when he was trying to flee So now he'll be in prison till he hits 33 And it's not your fault little Johnny It's just society And when he hang himself from the ceiling It's just society
