Still Waters Run Deep

Drowning in my thoughts, feel like my mind's slowly killing me Been working on myself but all this hopelessness is still in me Not being worth shit is what they tried to instill in me for a while they succeeded Shii I really believed it In a weird way it was needed Now I'm healing, it's too many cycles I don't wanna see repeated & I sure as f*ck ain't tryna be the reason Thru the music I'm bleeding until I'm no longer breathing I can offer perspective, but can't make you understand what I'm seeing All my lowest points did was have me waking up my highest being Charge it to the game, that's my per diem To know yourself you gotta face the good AND the bad that's within Sometimes it's my own fault why I be running in place But not my fault cops love putting guns in my face I can tell by the way that they don't even hesitate In those moments I had to accept that maybe I met my fate Always been misunderstood, it'll probably be too late by the time anybody understands Me Used to not even be able to go home & feel like part of the family & don't give me that bullshit about how blood's thicker Cause in my family all that means is backs turn quicker Gotta filter out the fake family & fake friends that ain't tryna see you win But we ain't gotta pretend You can real life go f*ck yourself then go do it again BEEN a lonely road, bitch I'm still on the dolo Tryna fulfill my purpose in this world then bounce like a pogo Don't be scared to ask questions cause how else you gon learn what you don't know?
