What Day Was It?

So it all started on a warm day Not a trouble in my mind My intentions innocent as child's play What once was ours now was mine I got hard as a rock All my feelings I started to block None of them came through I didn't look the same The feeling don't have a name Nothing was true I started talking to people differently And they started doing the same I don't care what they think about me I have no shame I guess it came as a shock Well surprise, surprise Well your eyes weren't open when they needed to be You're gonna have to deal with the person that you're talking to Because it won't change somehow I felt departed from my old friends I got new habits to fill the gap I guess a little "sorry" can fix my problem I got to big an ego for that I got hard as a rock Gotta relieve some stress But then reality will come true Why do I put myself through this misery I guess I think the feeling is cool It all started on a cold day Everybody else was happier than me I take that happiness and use it inside As fuel to succeed I don't wanna walk I think I wanna stay in bed Watch other people move around It not for me This is not my thing I'd rather be in the ground
