Growing Pains

It gets a little bit intoxicating When the world isn't on your side And now i'm caught up in the freestyle Downtown no frowns cruising in my ride I guess the world can see that i'm doin fine And i might implode into the sun but for now i guess i'm quite alright I'm doing fine It might be crazy to make a mess out of fun ideas and all this stress well It might fun to mess around and hit the ground till i leave town well It never occurred to me That maybe i was lying to myself When i said i was happy But i wish i was with someone else And i might implode into the sun but for now i guess i'm quite alright I'm doing fine Rest your head oh little child You're getting old but your senile And your arms are weak The pain is strong You are angsty and hate your mom I don't believe in sacrifice But lord i think they arnt alright They say "oh yes i am fine" But the growing pains see through disguise And it gets much harder as you grow But the people you'll meet and the places you'll go Will make you feel so young and free So sit down child and listen to me And i might implode into the sun but for now i guess i'm quite alright I'm doing fine and i know one day that i will fold and let you know i'm not alright but in the meantime I'm doing fine
