You see sometimes You know Most of the time I be I be tryna write my feelings through music And through songs But then I catch myself and it Turns into Poetry So I thought i'd letchu hear sum The warmth of his will always be present He presents the present as a second that flutters Like the wings of a pheasant So dont let it slip by Because it goes so fast Live every moment as if its your last Because if you dont you will gasp And before you know it, it will have gone past Only to become the overcast of the mind So tightly binded That finding anything would feel as if you're blind Each moment: important None more than the last Each one fits like pieces to a puzzle Or a key to a map Moments fall in your lap And most of us dont give a crap And sit on our laptop and read crackpot news that pours into out brains Like mud on new shoes that we wore in the rain At times it's chaotic And sometimes it's insane It may feel like time is a train Too quick to catch Or appreciate But don't take it for granted Each second a pebble Each moment like granite Cemented in time You can never rewind So find a place in your mind where you can truly absorb the moments Because they're all that we have Latch on to them Feel Love And Attatch
