I think I'm, Finally starting to understand the purpose behind the darkness I've endured It broke me down, and tore me apart but it ultimately made me a better man in the end I'm no longer haunted by your shadow and the what ifs and coulda' beens I feel Liberated in a sense Yeah Oh Slowly healing Slowly feeling no, Oh Slowly becoming the best version of me no Still a lot of work to do but I think, I think I can finally start to feel like myself again The demons of my past no longer follow me I've made a lot of mistakes, I've fucked up a lot actually I've been hurt, I've hurt others, But I'm starting to see the beauty in learning from that instead of shaming myself I'm not perfect and to be honest I never want to be I'm authentic and it's what makes me pure For the first time in my life I think I can finally say, That I love myself the way I am Yeah And the journey goes on and on and on and on On and on and on and on And the journey goes on and on and on and on On and on and on and on
