There's a face in the crowd I think I've seen before I think we even spoke it was not long ago Some people simply touch your skin, others reach something within Sometimes that's what it takes to trigger you to rebegin There's a war of words fighting inside my mind Numb and overwhelmed I lose you out of sight We miss the way a touch can speak when words fail at their cause We're careful with the words we speak, there's silence, there's a pause There's no way we're looking back, there's more ahead Our paths will cross, we'll speak the words we left unsaid Keep moving through the crowd absorbed by every single face Somehow you see the beauty of it all, in its own place The people look so friendly here, "they used to be", you said They only show you one of their many, many facets
