Therapist

I just got a therapist She said that I am doing fine I lie to people all the time And say that I am quite alright They notice all the things I post Still it feels like no one knows I'm struggling not far inside And I'm just trying to get it right So here we are a brand new day The pain just seems to feel the same I'm trying not to fade away And beat these waves that won't be tame I cannot tell you how much breath I lose when I am underneath I'm swimming harder constantly But where is the air that I need? So I, I will try I'll keep persevering 'til the end And I know, that sometimes It's hard to even see the light I know I'm not alone in this There's others feeling emptiness We cry out loud with silent eyes And dream awake in bright disguise It never seems to go away But we get stronger every day The fight is always worth the pain To see the light another way I cannot simply promise you This pain will ever go away But in this life we always choose The light will be on for the stay Take heart in that you're being seen There's others who are struggling We're hurting but still living And that's always a victory So I, I will try I'll keep persevering 'til the end And I know, sometimes It's hard to even see the light Please, let's just breathe We have to keep on to be free So spread your wings Let's fly out from this misery I think it's time I lay in bed I'll dream alive and won't give in And all those things that I just said Will bury thoughts inside my head Close your eyes and dream with me Relax and start remembering There's joy and peace and hope, you'll see So please come on and fly with me Yeah I, I will try I'll keep persevering 'til the end And I know, that sometimes It's hard to even see the light Please, let's just breathe We have to keep on to be free So spread your wings Let's fly out from this misery
