Would I Have Jumped

You know i stand on Pedestals Hidden away in bathroom stalls I have climbed the hill of hope And then placed my neck inside the rope And I stood there, and watched the world go by Wondering if I jumped, would I die? I know you hate how hatred grows And how every time the doors will close You plant a tree with blood and bone And all you manage to grow's a stone. And you stood there and watched your flowers die Hoping that maybe next July, you'll comply I cleared the bookshelf of my name And I saved it for another day I couldn't stand the thought of fame But I could never chase the dream away So i stood above ceramic sinks And watch the powder float away And now we both know it was a tie But still wondered had i jumped Would I have died?
