Hollow Points

All the little voices inside my head They cry alot about The state of the nation and the state's rights Left and right We could debate but The common idea becomes a radicals thought Strike that It could never happen We want to defend but we were taught equality So we attempt to Strike back Against The hatred running brother to death Against The ego that is running us from child to death Inside we feel fortune Mistake it for something someone gave to us Instead of something we have given ourselves We made the millennium and we haven't lost our heads At least not to hollow points Cuz hollow points leave hollower points inside And they die with the dying I fear we'll find love only to find we have limited light So here's my candle Shine your manifest right back into the sky Cuz we could all use a little light To feed us Inspiration blinds us so we're dreaming in the dark To shield us From realities that don't really exist We just build them We build more to restrict than we build to give and give freedom Remember whether you stand for something or you stand for nothing People see you standing
