Beyond Alone

Beyond this road, a painful distance So reluctant to change how I feel My pride will refuse assistance Wander endlessly trenched in my tears Abandoned all my solace When you refused to cherish me All I wanted was a family Was I nieve to dream?   I'm caught between the lines of being numb and completely worse Who am I? What is my worth?  Beyond alone Moving on, I fail persistence Numb myself to fill the void With no one here to explain my sorrows All connections I seem to destroy Abandoned all possessions I found it's easier to leave Was suppose to see my father in June But the bottle meant more than me I hope someday you'll see my face You'll be shocked by what you see Through the trials and tribulations I've fought into the man I'll be You'll be caught between the lines of being numb and completely worse Who was I?
